Metal Grinding noise, not abs.

or at least i dont think its the abs.

I have this really nasty metal grinding noise coming from either the front left or the back leftmtire area when my car is moving 15-20mph, especially when i steer a little to the right. It creeks and grinds loudly even when the car is warm, I got off the freeway this morning thinking it might be because of the cold start, but the noise still persisted everytime i steered a little to the right. Dont know if it can be a pebble in the brakes as i have read someone had. Mine is an 06, w/ 3500mi on it, so it shouldnt be in need of a rnew otor replacment...have a scheduled service for next wed since they are out of loaner cars until then. anyone experience soemthing similar?

I had something like that - turned out that the brake pads needed replacement. But at 3500 miles?

Could be a damages brake pad, or even a cracked brake pad. Have it checked out or check it out yourself.

a member on here actually had a debris from the road get caught between the pad and the rotor and it was scratching the rotor up.... you need to get it checked out.

That actually sounds more like a hub bearing especially since it makes the noise when you turn the wheel

when i had a civic, when the power steering fluid was low, it would do the same.
When i turned the steering wheel, it would make lots of noise.
Might want to check your power steering fluid level.
