it is cheap. i have it and it is very flat and boring, the kit i bought was a tamiya 350z and the 350z body looks more realistic, but this was the only g body i could find. i had for months now.

 

i just got mine from the hobby store cant wait to take pics and show everyone. LOL

How much does it cost to get one of those cars? I was thinking about it a couple years ago, but lost interest. Now that I'm seeing the G, I'm thinking maybe its time to get one!

I was into the cars a while ago, but then I got sucked into a much more time-consuming and, uh, expensive hobby... I've got two R/C helicopters now. SO SATISFYING to see one of those things you've built with your bare hands take flight... and you wouldn't believe what a nightmare it can be to learn how to fly them. They're about $2k+ a pop, but I think the cars can be had, fuel and accessories and all, for under $500...?

This body can be used on quite a few car chassis's made by various R/C car manufactuers. Theses chassis are made in both electric and Nitro gas powered versions. They can range in speed from 20mph to 70mph. Prices for these range from anywhere around $200 on up for a complete setup.

The Protoform body pictured doesn't have as much detail as a Tamiya or HPI body. This manufacturer is more focused on racing. Their bodies are usually more aerodynamic and scale looks comes in a distant second.

man they range from low 100 dollar ones to like 600 bucks. It all depends if you want gas or electric. Plus that price usually doesnt include the remote control for the cars. Go to any hobby store and check them out. I bought the car itself for 200 bucks then invested another 500 it up. It goes almost 40 miles an hour on strait road. I like them there pretty cool.. Something to do at the meets when your bored LOL.

I would suggest going electric if you want to bash around at meets.. Gas is too loud and messy for meets.. Just take 4+ battery packs
