you can't see the swirl marks unless sun is directly hit the black car... and i have black coupe and my car nearly don't have any swirl marks cuz i never wipe my coupe... i got the air blower thing that blows the water out of my coupe so basically it dries my car without swirl and waterspots... and after nice shiny wax, black is definitely looks badazz...

 

neither, you want the red, baby!.... actually, i have heard a lot of complaints about discoloration on panels with the white.

My vote is for black w/tint, but I’m biased ‘cause that’s what I have. I think it looks better as long as you’re willing to keep it looking nice.

redwillow, you sure your tints is 15% on willow?
cuz i have black/willow with 10% tints and mine doesn't look darker than your tints... and by your picture, it looks like weather was nice sunny... here is my pics look at it... i took it on cloudy weather plus under the tree on shadow...

uhh, yes i'm sure. It looks very dark in that picture, but you can still see in a little at an angle when its sunny out.. wish it was a little darker, actually.

Actually I would say black ages better than white. Swirl marks can always be covered with Zaino, but white tends to yellow over time and there's nothing you can do about it.

 

i'm in the same position as you..choosing between black and white.. this will probably be my car for at least 4-6 years so i want a car that wont age horrendously..but both of these colors will look pretty bad if theyr not taken car of.. i'm pretty much only considering appearance and not maintenance.. any car looks best when clean.. and im still on the fence.. black/white...black/white...black/white

 

heheh, k, i think im more towards the black with black interior, my previous cars have all been white, i need a change, and black does look sharp... i agree all colors has there pro and cons, no way to avoid that, just wax your car at least once a month...

but for you not to get swirl marks, are there any tips to prevent this to a minimal when washing your car?

 

I bought the coupe in black and I live in Texas. Yes, it does get hot, but all the compliments I get make it worthwhile. I have seen it in white and I think it looks good, but not as sharp as black. Personally, I would have liked the orange color from the 350Z, but that's just me hehe...

I got the black but there was an ivory pearl w/ willow interior in the showroom which looked like a $million!
If you want more aggressive good looks, go with the black.
If you want more elegance and class, go with the ivory pearl.
Either way, make sure you get the wheel & tire upgrade!

yep, don't let the dealer wash the car when you take it in and when you wash it, use a Chenille mit or Microfiber mit (one for the hood, roof and trunk; another one for the doors, front and rear fenders, one for the front and back bumpers and kick plates below the doors and a last one for inside and outside of the rims). Rinse them after you have washed one of the surfaces before you throw it back in the soapbucket so that you rinse out the dirt. Also, wash the sides in an up and down motion and the top surfaces in a side to side motion; don't swirl the mit on the car. Dry in the same way with Microfiber towels (properautocare.com; they are right up the street from me and have good stuff).

And use Zaino soap and wax.

 

to me, black looks good on any car.
white looks really good on the G35c.
even though black looks good, i think it's harder to maintain. i think dark color cars get swirl marks that are easier to see then on a light color car. that means u would have to wax and buff ur car alot if u go with black....white, however, will always have a nice shine

I have a Black coupe with black tints and its such a gangsta out car ,I
love that Car. I honestly regret not getting white every time I see my neighbors
white G35. It's the nicest color for a G by far. Plus theres not too many white
G35. Its easy to keep clean and it looks classy.</p>

IMO. White looks better from far...and black looks better up close as u can see the lines and stuff. On the other hand, white is more of a mature color than black, which looks gangsta I was also considering the two but I ended up with black cuz I JUST LOVE IT! My 3 cents
