It's a verticle streak about 3/4 of an inch wide, from about 3 inches below the top, all the way down. It shows up about 2 days after I wash the windows. I was thinking I could take the door panels off and wipe off some of the grease, but I don't want to dry out the roller too much. It is an '03 so I'll check into the recall issue on the motor.

Actually everyone, there is a tsb on the grease streaks. Although they suck. The dealer will either usually change the window regulator or will apply a felt tape to certain portions of the regulator to stop the streaks.
I've had them both done, numerous times, to each window. Theres no stopping the streaks. They always come back. I thought it was stictly an Infiniti issue until we got my wifes TL several months back and low and behold, I've got a big ol grease streak on the driver's window.
This used to bother me a lot. Now I just accept it as trade off for driving a sweet car.

My '03 has the same streaking problem as well. I haven't had the TSB done because I've heard, from other members in the distant past, that the repair sometimes causes different problems, such as new door rattles. Since I'm not going to take that chance, I'll just keep cleaning them off as needed.
