Hard to negotiate...depends on your location I guess. I know most of the dealerships around here wouldn't even start to budge knowing that the 6MT's will sell either way.

Seriously, price will be based upon the type you want and demand where you live. I've heard $1500 off up to $1000 over msrp. Personally I got $900 off a 5AT with premium pkg only. Was not on lot but was acquired through dealer trade. They quoted me sticker, I asked for $1500 and walked out. Called me a week later, said they'd found what I wanted and offered the $900. Otherwise, not much negotiating involved.

they will be much nicer to you if you tell them that you were on your way to the BMW dealership and just stopping by to see what all the fuss is about.
don't look too interested and the dealer will try harder to sell you the car. if you act like a 10 yr old kid wanting a new toy for christmas, you are gonna get jacked fo sho

 

with the auto, your gonna want the wheel and tire package... its a good deal.

03 6MT coupe, red/willow, premium, aero, splash guards, alum pedals, clear corners, 15% tint

 

if your lookin for 5AT with leather only(pre package?) then dealer will likely give u 1k off msrp cuz most people want more options especailly wheel and tire pacakge... good luck
