LP and BS react differently under different lighting condition.

LP seems to sparkle with a hint of purple under night light, e.g. light in mall's garage.

my dad has a LP sedan and I have a BS coupe and the LP is quite a bit lighter. That is really all the difference, when I look in the garage you can hardly tell the difference between the two if they are both clean.

Hard to tell from the pics because the lighting is so different. But looks close to me from those pics.

yeah, we need a close-up, hi-res, side-by-side shot to really judge

however, based on those pics, it looks like the LP is more brilliant than the brilliant silver...... no pun intended

BS has a goldish hue next to LP. LP is a tad lighter and pure silver.

Desert Platinum is nothing like Liquid Platinum. DP is really between Serengeti Sand and Brilliant Silver and looks like this:

I originally, based upon pics, wanted LP....but once I got to the dealership I liked Diamond Graphite better....the DG is amazing at hiding dirt also.

LP is now my second favorite color.

Ok I didn't have access to the original pic earlier today at work, but here's the original, and it just so happens that the one on the left is B. Silver and the right is L. Platinum.

Hope this is better.

anyone have a problem with the flop in their liquid platinum from the door to the rear quarter panel? i've noticed it on my car and all the lp's sitting on dealer lots. the doors and quarters reflect a different shade depending on the angle, even in the picture above. oh, and the rocker covers come nowhere close to matching.
