Could it have been an earlier model of M3? I know the first ones were not as potent.

Once the light turned green, he jumped ahead but then result that he was 2-3 car length behind . After she told the story, I told her not to do it on the street but she told me that the street was cleared in front . I asked if she turned off the VDC, she said no. I asked her if she floored it, she said no also, just gas the pedal but didn't really floor it

Your wife probably raced a BMW 325. There's no way in hell that a G35 is faster than an M3. I use to own an '02 M3 and presently own an '05 G coupe. The G's a nice car, but it's not in the same performance league as an M3.

The guy cut lanes just try to line up with her at the red light (ofcourse rev his engine). Once the light turned green, he jumped ahead but then result that he was 2-3 car length behind . you just have to remember most bmw or MB owners think they are better than everyone else because the drive a BMW or MB, thats all it is, my 2 cents....not trying to offend anyone

He has a stage 4 supercharger. I'm sure he can take an M3.

I saw an "M3" the other day, and then realized the left exhaust tips, were just glued on pieces of metal. what a joke

Yup, the guy was infront of me, and it just didnt look right. Then I looked down at the drivers side exhaust tips, an i could see the silver bumper through the tips. Im guessing it was a 330 or 325, and the guy got a replica M3 bodykit, but ran out of money and couldnt buy the exhaust, so his body shop glued some tips on. Just wish i got some pics. of it

Well let's face it, the M3 is superior to the G35, but then again the M3 costs about $20K more so it shouldn't be surprising. Two things I didn't like about my M3: my clutch was really stiff which can get annoying in stop and go traffic, and the gas mileage was horrible since I averaged around 15 MPG in mostly country driving. Bu comparison my G's clutch is like a feather, and I average about 22 MPG.
