I'm curious if you would have to sell your Gs, wondering how much would you sell your G for? and apprx how much $ did you put into it?
I'll start with mine
05 AT Coupe @ 24K miles
over 20K of modding....willing to sell @ 40K

 

Usually modded cars depreciate in value. I will sell mine at 30K with little mods only because it is one of the few IP with Black interior and loaded with Navi.

 

I've been financing car for 3 years now, all those mod mean **** when you're selling it. Maybe to the right buyer if you got the patient.

 

I completely understand that....just the thought at what price will the g35 owner will sell their Gs

 

For a fully loaded stock 05 with decent mileage (below 20K) you're looking at wholesale around 29-31. Your car with all those mods worth as much as a stock one but to find the right buyer who's willing to buy it at a reasonable price, my guess is maybe 35-36 (seem reasonable enough). Just based on my experience. Hope that help

 

I have an 05 5AT with 18k miles, everything but nav. I would let it go for around 28k.

 

I suggest you take mods out in order to maximize your profits.

Here are two thing buyers see modded cars.

1) modded car owners are into performance, they drive really hard (abuse the engine)

2) often your mods don't fit their tastes. so they might need to pay to take them off (a lot of trouble). therefore might lower the value of the car.

A lot of people do this, but it's never a smart idea. they buy new cars, put a lot of money into mods, and sell it ended up losing thousands.

so I would keep it.

 

I usually grab a car that "clicks" with me, in other words a car that I consider my per se dream car. Of course, It has to be in my price limit, there are plenty of 'dream cars' for me that won't ever happen, but the G happened, so I wouldn't let it go for much of nothing. Let's put it this way -- No one would ever give me enough for me to let it go, unless they are just throwing their money out the door.

 

Hmmm . . . I would sell my G for $945,673,123,453.99! In other words, I wouldn't sell it.

'03 Coupe with 42K miles. I would sell mine for $33,000, put $20K into it.

 

06 6mt 4500 miles ill let it go for 36k. the only mod i did for now is the tint.
