I used to asked myself the same question too untill I own both, obviously it's only my opion. First off, you cant really go wrong with an auto, MT is fun but you're either hate it or like it in the "long run." MT was only fun for awhlie for me, Mt would be a nice weekend car but not an everyday car. With auto, sometime I wish I got MT but then again not for long, maybe just to f...around for awhlie thats it.

get a manual! I just picked up a white 06 coupe MT and it's sick. I used to live in TDot, so I know how flat it is. Shouldn't be a problem learning how to drive it.

I got my 6mt in May. I signed before I really knew how to drive it. I have rolled auto trans for the last ten years. Dont worry about holding her hand. Its a great excuse to let go. God, I'm so affectionate.

chances are if you bought the 6MT, it's because of the performance aspect of the car....meaning that you'll most likely be pushing it a little harder than if you got the AT and therefore killing that marginal gas advantage you might gain from this transmission...

You need to go with the 6MT. You want to experience all the power this car can give. Only a MT can do that.

Not if you have a lead foot like most of us do.

Dude if you are a newbie with manual I wonld not recommend this to be your first manual car.
