I agree with some other posters. The CB is a toyish looking. But hey, to each their own. Nothing beats a black G35 coupe. And of course it's going to be clean! I don't understand these people that spend nearly $40k on a car and then don't clean the damn thing!

The guys over on the Acura forum were all making fun of the CB coupe after watching a video of it driving around in the snow. Anyone know who made the video or who owned the car?

Anyway, there were a bunch of comments on the color, all negative (Who would buy a nice car like that in THAT color???)

I agree though.... CB would be my LAST choice of colors for the G35. I don't like it at all. I don't like red either, simply because the taillights disappear on the red cars. And the black is nice, but tends to hide the lines of the car too much.

I like the BS and DG. DP isn't bad, but it looks too much like a silver car that needs to be washed.

I guess I'm very opinionated, huh?

 

I agree with hitman, I have heard all negatives when someone sees the Carribean Blue. People just say they like it because they like the car-NOT the color. Reminds me of the 80's tourqouise color of the vette's and that color made that car look ugly too!

 

The only colors I like on the Coupe are Carribean Blue and Laser Red. So many people have have admirably asked me if it was a custom color. The problem with red though is that it hides the beautiful tail lights. All other colors are *yawn* just shades of "grey". The roads are full of silver and its derivatives.

i agree with the comment about spending 40k on a car and not keeping it clean, but sometimes that is almost impossible. my problem is that there doing construction on every road around my house. and with the rainy weather i'd be washing the car every day to keep it looking good. i don't have the time to do that. but i try my best to keep it up. the dirt shows up so bad on the twilight blue, might as well have gotten black with that

RED BABY! YEAH! LOL. I look at my ride as my sports car and had to have in red to complete the feeling. I personally don't care for the CB but I do like the fact that it stands out. I think Red qualfies too. Most G's I've seen here in LA are DG, BS, Black. I can count on two hands the amount of LR's I've seen. In that light I can admit I've has maybe 4 CB's, to each his own. BUT DAMN AIN'T THAT RED SEXY! Like I always have said everytime I see my G in the morning I feel like I just met a hot blonde on a blind date. [img]/w3timages/icons/laugh.gif[/img]

LOL! Yeah, I think so. I want to see what they are saying, since it's probably taken out of the context of my disclaimer. The only other g35 snow videos featuring a CB coupe are the official nissan ones.

I don't remember word for word what was said (if it was your video), but I do remember some negative comments on the color and also that they found it funny that the driver had to use the e-brake on a rear wheel drive car.

But don't worry, some of those guys are just jealous haters
