that was in auto I did a run in manual as well and I got 14.916 @ 93.33 MPH It seems I had a better launch on that one, it was also my first try ever.

Now I believe these times are slow as the Z06 should have run about 12.50 s @ 116.3 mph not 13.565 @ 105.76. you can see here http://www.car-videos.com/performanc...p?id1=15&id2=0 I have also not done any prep at all, the spare was in the trunk along with a bunch of other stuff and I had about 3/4 of the fuel tank full. Next time I will clean the car prior to going to the track and leave only 1/4 tank of gas. I am also looking at getting some drag radials for the track 295 or so, but that will most likely be next year. I will also do a ecu reset before I go next time and see what that does if anything. Overall It was a blast I had tons of fun and am totally hooked now. So let me know what you guys think.

haha I saw you there last nite! There were about 4 G35c's down there and about 400 mustangs! I was the guy in the silver Maxima on the lane left of you...was that your first time? That track sucked! It was not sticky at all. If you go to Englishtown, then I am sure you will get better times. Your times honestly, were really bad...your 60' was 2.4...you need to work on that. I do also, I had a 2.5 60'...yikes

Well, Englishtown has a much nicer track compared to Island. Yesterday was only my 2nd time ever doing this...ran 15.3 @ 92 as my best

 

Exactly, my 60 time was terrible because I kept spinning the tires. It must have been wet there or something.

 

Was up guys.. I was also there in my Black G35.. The track was very slick almost like it had moisture on it.. I had like 2.3X times and ran like 14.4's.. Me and Gnome didnt get there till like 9ish.. Plus i lowered the tire pressure on my rears witch seemed to slow me down but not sure as the track was a mess..

Gnome: Ill let you know the next time I go.. It will prob be next weekend i just have to pick a place and event.. Ill let you know tomarrow along with the rest of the board to fallow hehe..

we were there in the other silver automatic with the 20" chrome rims...it ran a 14.8 best. I can't wait to get my 6MT back from the dealer so I can see what that runs.

I had my hood open as did infidsg35(black G) in front of me. I took some pics too but came out not too good.

Hey guys,
I think we should all meet up at Englishtown this Wednesday. I would say the track is much better there and we should be able to get better times.

Yeah your right, it does get busy. But the track is soo much nicer than island. I think it would help all our times.

 

both tracks are in a place that can be mistaken for some area in Pennsylvania--it's in the middle of nowhere
