actually when a car is stolen in ny, or nj ( the car being from ny) it should have a salvage title

I have the exact same car and i love the drive. I'm the second owner, and i had to replace the engine (under warranty) and the clutch. So be carefull and has others said, ask for maintenance proofs and take it to the dealer for an inspection. Also it will be harder for you to sell it because of the stolen title on registration papers. Dont risk having troubles for a few 1000$.
