Scraped up my rear bumper, need advice!

So I was washing my car yesterday at a friends house and when I finished I called to tell him I was done and he should come down and close his garage when I leave. Well he looks over the balcony and thinks I'm out and closes the garage before I pulled the car all the way out. It almost clears the car but then the outside of the garage door scrapes my bumper and takes off some paint at right where it comes to a point above the license plate area. I'm SOOOOO pissed right now. What are my options on getting this fixed? There are no dents, just scrapes and in one spot there is a chunk of paint missing but it's not indented at all. Can I just get that section sanded and repainted or do they need to reapaint the whole bumper? What kinda cost am I looking at here? I'll attach some pics.

You can try buffing it out, & then apply touch up paint where it needed. But the best way to do is just have the bumper painted.

Well I wouldn't try to buff it myself and I'm not a big fan of touch up paint. If I had the bumper painted, would they be able to match the color perfectly? I know it looks silver in some light and somewhat gold in other light. How much would a bumper repainting cost? Would they have to paint the whole thing or just sand down the area that is damaged? I am so stressed right now.

Buffing won't take those scratches out. That's nasty looking! Gotta repaint the whole bumper Hokie

You'll need damge like that to be repainted. No worries with a good shop. They will be able to repair damage and repaint with a perfect match.

You can not just paint that section, the whole bumper must be repainted. You are looking at 350 just the bumper alone.

Jeez

I just had to buy a rear bumper. $690 installed. Mine nearly got torn off hydroplaning on the interstate.

The only way it will ever look new is to have the entire bumper prepped and painted... About $300 here in Houston.

Also, V&V body shop ROCKs!
I have been there several times in 2 years due to dings, scratches, haters keying car... The car always comes out like new
