Which gas station do you use?
I always use HESS and get 93 Octane for the G. I also go there when I get gas for my Tacoma, only I use 87 Octane. I have a HESS Rewards credit card that gives you 10% cashback on all purchases made at HESS for the first 90 days and 5% after that, as well as 1% on all other purchases anywhere else. Works out well for a gas card, at least during the introductory rate.... and I have a HESS 1 mile from my house, so it's a good deal for me.

Also, I'm sure you're wondering about inspections and the enforcement by the state (or by w/e dept. conducts the inspections), there are loopholes to get around this and many owners I know do just that. Also, remember that gas is shared among many stations. The same gas you pump @ Valero just might be the same gas you can pump down the street @ Sunoco. Someone told me earlier that the only stations that do not share are Chevron and Shell...but this info. has yet to be confirmed.
I've had bad experiences @ many Citgo gas stations throughout FL. The gas mileage is horrible and performance...I'm not going to even talk about it. I normally pump @ the newly remodeled shell near my home if not then I try to find the newest/cleanest (big name brand) station.

Sunoco...my car seems to run alot nicer with sunoco 94..sometimes I can find one with the red pump which is 100 octane unleaded....can you put CAM2 in these babies?? it is leaded, which might screw things up on a stock motor..

Any station other than Citgo. I alternate between 93 and 89 octane so that there is always a 50/50 mix. When I had a G35 loaner, I only used 89 and it ran fine.
