stable mates

I don't know many folks that own G35's that also own classic BMWs. I see that you have a roundie BMW 2002. I have a heavily modded 1976 BMW 2002. My G is an 04 6MT with the sport package. Is the 02 yours? If so, I post on the 02 boards as rns7602. I am gutting my 1973 3.0 cs now.

Good luck with your cars and enjoy. I cannot really comment on your car as I have not done anything to my G besides order some 19" staggered deep dish Shallens.

i actually like the contract from flat to gloss that the tail lights give i really like the shape of our coupe tail lights and dont like OBs with completely blacked out tail lights same goes for LR on stock tails too much red no contrast. just my 2 cents the stealth all black look is still always cool.

I would get overlays or something.
since its already painted overlays dont really makes sense, just clear coat them, they will go bad with time, specially if you get some bird poop on them

Paint the whole thing!

I agree that the flat color doesnt flow well with your glossy paint. But ive been hopeing to see a G with a flat black paint job, i know it would be kind of a big step to take but i think it would be really mean looking and totally original...i saw an S4 driving around painted that color a few days ago and it looked so sick!

Becareful with paint remover...you could end up damaging the plastic underneath. Paint remover can eat through plastic (or put a bad haze) if you're not careful.
