Any direct bolt-on radiator upgrades for the G35 Coupes?

I've been looking around and it seems like all of the radiators are for 350Z's and need modification to fit the Coupes. I want one that is specifically for the G.

Anyone know of any?

Stillen is supposedly out but I can't find it.

Why do you want a larger radiator?

I want to upgrade my radiator when I flush my coolant.

I'm taking steps towards preparing my car for the TT install.

in all honesty your stock radiator will suffice unless you plan on doing hotlaps at a roadcourse

Hey, Chris . . . Stillen has a high capacity direct bolt-on radiator which affords 2 addition qts. of coolant for the Z's. I don't know if it will fit the G's though. They also have a racing radiator for the Z's, as well. Good luck on your search.

I do plan on tracking my car. That is the whole point of the TT.

gary_c, I did read somewhere that Stillen made one just for the Coupes but I can't find it on their site. I guess I will call them tomorrow. I did order the new catalog but then I never got it. So I ordered again.

Andy, precisely what I want. Our stock radiator is just about 5/8" thick. I want one that is 1 5/8" thick. 2 more quarts sounds great! I just don't want to cut, weld or fabricate anything custom from a 350Z application.

I understand the Koyo 36mm radiator will slide right in without any modifications. That's what I'll be going with. You can get a great deal from tuning factory on my350z's vendor classifieds, Koyo 36mm with Samco hoses shipped anywhere for $555.

I thought the Koyo one needs modification to fit too since it's universal. And I also thought you could fit up to 42mm?

I heard from Sharif/Forged Internals that the 36mm will slide right in and that's what he'll be running in his new monster build. Maybe that's how it is for the 350Z but I understood it to be the same for the G.

So I guess they all need modification or custom brackets.

if you are buying a 350z radiator the brackets need to be moved toward the fenders in both directions a couple of inches. there are two Koyo radiators. the thicker one will also require shaving the fan blades. I went with the PE radiator, because it was a direct drop in other than moving the mounts. It cost a little bit more than the koyo, but after adding up all the labor to make the koyo fit properly it comes out to be about the same price and you don't have to hack up your fans.

The circle on the left shows where the brackets where originally and the circle on the right shows where they were relocated to.

When I purchased my radiator there weren't any direct drop in for a G35. I don't know if things have changed since last August.

Any good performance shop should be able to fabricate the brackets necessary to make it fit. Go to SFR for all your TT needs.
