Front Lip Spoiler

Is this only available through the dealer...? Has anyone found them for cheaper anywhere else...? Is installation hard...? Best price found...?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanx.

Re: Front Lip Spoiler

The OEM lip is ony available from dealer (if you can get one, they're on back order), but I'm sure look-a-likes are soon to come.

Aftermarket wise, you have a couple of options. The more popular ones are Gialla, Stillen, Veilside, and NISMO. They all have their unique look, the Stillen being more on the "fast n furious" side, vs the Gialla and the Vielside being a little more streamline.

Price wise, the range from $250 to upwards and over $800 (NISMO). The OEM one from the factory comes painted and the last I heard it was in the neighborhood of $400 and change. The aftermarket ones usually come paint ready, or gel-coated. For the most part they'll cost you anywhere from $75 to $150 to get painted, and installation wise, take about an hour.

The installation is easy, and with my G, I picked up the Stillen lip which was very easy to install. It came with a roll of double sided tape, a set of rivets, some screws and some bolts. They suggest removing the front bumper to align and bolt it in place, but you can do it without removing the bumper if you have access to a lift or high enough wheel ramps to get a drill under the bumper.

Being that my G is lowered, and I do not have a lift, I had to remove my bumper, but that in its self is an easy task, taking a matter of 15-20 minutes.

I can't speak for the other brands, but the fit and finish of the Stillen was perfect! I'll post some pics later this weekend...
