I just went to the event bmw was having this past weekend.The 335i coupe was a blast to drive.!! Not to mention the car handled like it was on rails.!!
After they let us drive,they put us in the car with a pro driver that was flown out to us from california.This was called the hot lap.This guy made us put on helmets before we went into the car.I was like what the hell is this,how fast are we really going to go?He just replied 'fast enough'.I said ok do your thing.!
As we pulled off i felt the torque instantly throwing me back in the pass seat.!! Dont get me wrong we were not in a 600hp car.But for what the car comes with 300hp,it really moved.As we were going it seemed like we were going really fast.I looked over at the tach and saw 118 mph.!!
I felt that this guy was pushing the car past its limits but he was in totall controll of the car.!! Once we got out of the car i was really amazed by the handling ability the car has at such high speeds.!!
All in all,bmw really did good this time around. IMO.!!
And wouldnt you know that the infinity g35 coupe is its top competitor.!!
People were driving that car to compare to the 335i.!!
The interior wasnt really doing it for me at all.!!
The g won that catogory hands down.!!
My vote is this.
1.handling and power-335i
2.style,comfort,reliability-the g takes the rest.!! Even though the bmw was lookin pretty good.!!

It seems like there are alot of threads on the 335i, i personally like the car alot, and the idea of a stock TT is quite nice imo....

 

with some larger injectors and an engine management that thing will be a beast

 

335i is nice, but too pricey imo.
