LOL $10K differance between an M3 and a G35? I don't think so. Moderately equipped E46 M3s sticker in the upper $50s today ,and verts in the mid $60s. So you can bump those prices up by at least 10%. I'll be suprised if the new G, decently equipped, stickers over $40K.

The next big differance is that Infiniti Dealers will discount the G. Good luck getting anything off the M3 for at least a year. I bought an '02 M3 in MD and I felt fortunate that they threw in the floor mats at no extra charge: lots of basics are options in the M3. So if you compare out the door price differance of similarily equipped cars, it will be a lot closer to $25K than the $10K that you suggest.

bmw stepped it up this year. 335i gets twin turbo. 325 gets last years 335 engine and horespower. M3 going to a monster v8. But just like stated before, your gonna pay for it. Hard to beat the g for dollar to quality, style, power and features.

Speaking of price, I priced out a new m3 and 335 before I bought my g. They may have a modest sticker price but they kill you with necessary options. Its extra on bmws for paint color, better leather, 17" wheels($50,000 car with 16" wheels standard wtf?), performance handeling, areo kits, performance tires, more H.P.,and many other little things needed to make the car look and perform good, and most of which standard on g. Easily adds up to over $10,000 dollars, and pushed the 335 out of my price range. M3 way out. Don't need a second morgage.lol I understand the g has options too, not as many as bmw, but standard features on g are really good and extras don't cost as much.

This is true. The OTD difference between the current models is easily 20 grand. Another thing though, BMW base models are stripped but one should be able to order a stripped performance car no? Infiniti does the exact opposite.. bundling of options. Why in the world do I need a sunroof to get the Nav (which requires premium pkg). Plus my G came with a bunch of features I've never had any use for, like heated seats or homelink, or the whole premium pkg altogether. BMW charges you for everything which is good because you can only pick and choose the options you'll really need.

Btw, BMW doesn't have a "performance handling" or "performance tire" or body kit options. Are you talking about is the performance package on the 330? It's not like the G doesn't have all kinds of performance tire and wheel, sport tuned suspension and aero packages that you get charged extra for 16" wheels are standard on the 335i?

The G is in a different class...you cannot compare these 2. You should be saying G35 coupe or BMW 335 coupe

Your right, meant the 330, it was about a year ago I was looking at bmw. The new 335 is really nice. And these were all options then. These are premium luxuary/sports cars so I really don't see a need for a stripped version. These aren't neons or civics were talking about. I deffinatly see your point about chocseing what you want, but those options really add up when you pick all the ones you want or need. Who woulden't want oversized wheels, exterior color besides white or black, high grade leather, more HP motor, better suspention, all standard on g. I can see opting out of heated seats, sunroof, ect, but the fact is that the packages that they are included in are so cheap on the g for what you get, it is probably the same price to get all the options in the preimum package as it would be to just get the ones you want. Maybe not, I don't know. I am just really impressed in the value of infiniti.

Yeah, I thought the M3 Would be faster

The M3 has to be faster...but they are both going to be V8, am I right? Either way, the G35 will outsell the M3 hands down.
