its not all that uncommon, it was more popular several years ago, its just like the alarm led, but in a long strip (like KIT's)

i thnk its a great idea! then you can put a toaster oven in the dash, swap out and make a double din eight-track, and wear a pastel colored suit and roll up the sleeves too.
