G35's SLOW??
 

im on YOUTUBE.COM and allot of cars are smokin the g35, is this normal? i thought it would be faster than the altima at least. whats goin on?

not if is the SE-R... them fckrs are fast

^^^^ It doesn't have to be the SE-R for an Altima to be quick, the 3.5 is only 10hp and 2 ft lbs of torque less than the SE-R.

To the OP, the G35 is a quick car no doubt, but I wouldn't consider it fast by any means. If you bought the G to out perform all others on the street you bought the wrong car. There is always someone out there that has a faster, more modified car.

The G's are an excellent car for the money and what they are designed for. However, they are not meant to be fast by any means. ;)

yeah but i thought it would at least be faster than the altima, o well there alot better looking thats my maine concern

the altima prolly had juice or something like that.... stock for stock no way... i dont think the sers are even as fast..

Stock for stock, I would say the G and the Altima would be a drivers race. The G is rated with a little more HP/torque, however the Alty weighs almost 200 lbs less.

How does everyone on here say that this car is "not fast". This is the dumbest thing i have ever heard. Our cars are not SUPER FAST, but they are fast. Just cause our cars are not the fastest car out there does not mean that they are not fast.

The SE-R is not faster than our cars.....If that car is beating you than your car must be retarded. The SE-R only has 260 HP and might be 120 pounds light than our car. So by no means should it be faster.......

I guess it depends on what your idea of "fast" is, but I do not consider the G fast..... but quick, yes.

I think you had better give a little more credit to the Alty.

My 03 im pretty sure weighs in at 3435 pounds....atleast within a few pounds of that....
