i can't believe this happened to me

Hey guys, so this is my worst experience at a dealership.

I dropped off my car on Monday morning, coz they was a fluttering noise that occurred after I paid around $400 for my 15k service?!?!

They called me back in the afternoon and said the noise was gone coz one of the technicians messed something up, and said it was ready to go. When I was about to pick up my car, I noticed that the front bumper was all dented, and damaged. And I am 100% positive that it was not like that when I dropped it off, since my bumper was BRAND NEW.

Guys did you ever have similar experience? What should I do? And what possible actions could I take? All I want is to get my car back in one piece, not damaged….

I would absolutely refuse to leave the lot until they agree to fix it 100%!!!!!!!!!!!!

it was not an aftermarket bumper, but i had it replaced just about a month ago after an accident.

the thing is they are just gonna keep on denying it, what's the best way to nail them without 100% evidence like this...

If they don't resolve the issue quickly within their own shop, which they should do no hassles, file a complaint with Infiniti.

what would be the outcome if i file a complaint with infiniti?
are they actually gonna replace the bumper? or ask me to go to another dealership to get it repaired?

you should fight for it..
this had happened to me few months ago..
and actually..the manager inspected my car before my drop off
so I had a paper showing that I didn't have any dents or scratches..
hopefully you have that inspection paper..

yeah hopefully they have the inpection paper, but still they could have easily add the damages after they messed my car up right? coz i do not have a copy of that inspection paper after i left the dealership.

DAAARNNN what should i do, i'm really pissed and worried that this is gonna be a tough fight...

they should have gone over the car before they took it out of the service bay where you drop it off. same thing they do with rental cars before you drive it off. they should have marked off any dents or damage prior to them working on it. show them the receipt from getting a brand new bumper with the date indicating that it was not that long ago. it will be hard for them to argue with you if you have all the evidence and they should fix it for free.

Man I hate when crap like this happens.
Any lawyer friends or family?
This sucks. Good luck homie.

If you look at your copy of the work order - from when you dropped it off, there should be a sign-pff section or area noting any previous damage...if it's clean, they're dirty!!!

They cant deny it on you. Go back there, and demand a new f*cking bumper. If they say it wasnt them, tell them "Ummm, isnt it procedure to check for any visible damage before taking in the car?" If they dont have that sheet, theyre caught.

Always have dealer inspects before you drop off and you have to inspect one time before you leave their place.
