is it true that if i install a cold air intake and it hydrolocks and screws my engine that will void my warranty, and that if infiniti installs it and i get hydrolock theyll replace it for free?

nope. if you hydrolock, that's all on you. if something happens because they ****ed up the install, THEN they'll cover it.

But you can contact your insurance company and see if they will cover it. Just tell them you drove into a flooded area, and it is considered an accident. I should know, it happened to me! Of course I did drive into a flooded area that was under construction and had no idea how much the construction had deepened the area.

yeh if you hydrolock it then its your own fault......

anything that is not oem can avoid your warranty if it caued the problem

and save yourself the money and install it yourself or with a friend

if youre that worried about hydrolocking then theres an aem bypass valve that you can get..otherwise..just dont get a cai..short ram or something......

its not like the cai will make a night/day difference..
