06' bluetooth sound location??

I never cared before but I am curious about any of you with the 06' and bluetooth.

Does your sound only come from your passenger side? I don't and never heard it from my driver side door.

I assumed they intended it that way due to feedback problems but I figured I would check with the rest of you.

I've thought that about mine also, sounds like it's only coming from the passanger side too. I was going to bring this up next time I do go the dealer.

it's only coming from the passenger side. i think it's intended. you can adjust the bluetooth/telephone mode volume. i've never had an issue with it. just with the microphone volume and feeling like i'm shouting into the mic...

It's only from the passenger side - I think it works better that way.

^^^Same here, everyone says that can't hear me... Is there a way to make the mic more sensitive?

bluetooth

I turned minie off because of caller complaints. They couldn't hear me and I got tired of screaming all the time. Went out and bought a Bluetooth headset instead. (yes the sound only came from the passenger side).

Yeah, i had bluetooth and it totally sucked. I just put in the Pioneer AVIC-Z1 with bluetooth plug-in, and it works so much better. I'll eventually get around to routing the mic to where the stock one is, but I've been pretty lazy lately (at least lazy enough to not take apart a good portion of my car again lol).

Correct, the sound only comes from the passenger side. As far as the clarity, I've noticed that while talking through bluetooth you pick up a lot of background noise from the person calling you. If you try to speak while there's background noise, your voice will sound choppy over the phone.
