The Murano does not run as well on 89 or less. I own one and was disappointed with the drop in performance when I accidentally added 89 at one time.

Still want a G35 but need the room? Why not get the G_sedan?

More trunk space for groceries and baby gear. You'll learn to appreciate that real quick on extended trip. Coupe trunk and rear seat is joke.
More interior space, for the baby seat. It's gotta be easier putting him/her in the seat from the side then over-the-shoulder method from front seat of the coupe. Don't forget the extra head room too.
Still the same VQ you know & love. Still enjoy the sporty handling of the FM paltform. And if you're already modding, most of the parts will fit the sedan.

Just my

The current G35 sedan looks better than it used to. I hated the ones before it though, especially the back. The 2007 G35 sedan though, looks SWEET. That may be the best bet for me if I can't find a crossover SUV that I really like.

AcenJay - I don't get it.

You complain about $200 tires and using premium gas. You have a baby and need to save your money, but now you are looking at trading for a brand new G35 sedan? Or maybe something else that is expensive (those FXs are about $10k more than the G35s, IIRC)

So you wanna save $0.20 per gallon, but are willing to get a more expensive car to do so? It just doesn't make sense.

By dumping your money into an 07 sedan you are still getting the same gas mileage. In a year or whenever, you will STILL have to get tires replaced.

You are talking about spending $5000+ in order to save *maybe* $2k?

It just doesn't make sense. I think you should sit down and decide what your REAL priorities are? Do you really just want something new? Or do you really want to save money?

No doubt all the cars people are mentioning are nice, but they are not going to save you ANY money, and in most cases will in fact cost you MORE money. If money is NOT an issue, then I don't get why you are complaining about having to use premium gas.

I dunno, just my $0.02 man. Good luck,
