Anyway just to get you all screaming at your computer screens, your car is a 'skyline' like it or not. Infiniti was a made up name from your U.S sales people because they didnt think they could sell the car as a Nissan. So f**k them and get back to the roots of the car with the skyline name lit up

Well, like it or not, we, who live in america, drive Infiniti G35s, not Nissan Skylines. If I lived over seas, then I would want mine to say skyline, well, because it would be considered a skyline. But the car was born as a nissan skyline 350gt whatever way its badged in different countries. There isn't an Infiniti factory in Japan you know.
Not having a go at anyone on here just gets me why people dismiss the Nissan name. Surely people over there don't still relate Nissan with the little 4 door run around that they made 30 years ago.

I know there isnt an infiniti factory in Japland. I know that the only reason Infiniti exists is because American people couldnt vouch paying the high prices for a nissan, so they came up with a fancy name to doop the stupid Americans into buying them. Yes they are made by Nissan, and yes, I would tell people that I drive a nissan. I tell people that are uneducated about cars that my car is a 2+2 version of a 350Z, because basicly, thats what it is.Originally Posted by ukgt
