New to G35s Mod help please
Hey, i am new to the site, my father has had his 2003 G35 M6 Coupe for a while now and i think the mod bug has hit him now. I do not know much about the G35s and what can be done to them since i own a 02 mustang gt. What are some good bolt ons to start off that can be done to the car. Also, how much can you push these motors without having to go into the internals, what kinda rwhp/rwtq can they hold? Right now the car has a aftermarket muffler because it does not sound anything like the ones around town do, i dont know what brand since it was on the car when he got it. Please let me know any info that you want to add about the car.
Thanks
Felipe
p.s. here are some pictures of the car.
Thanks

To understand why the plenum works, run a search for "plenum" and watch this
http://www.crawfordz.com/plenum.htm (click on Understanding the Crawford Plenum)
Granted that vid is for a replacement plenum, but the problem being addressed is the same
Along with that, I recommend the stillen intake + z-tube (search for ztube if you want to learn more)

As I research on this site, I have come to the conclusion that the plenum spacer has been proven not to show gains for the 05/06 models. Supposedly, it has been redesigned and no longer provides HP increase. Is this legit or am I reading it wrong?
Thank you for the link, BTW

The stillen intake changes it to a cone filter, so no need for a K&n drop-in (most change to a k&n cone filter, I went with Apex'i).
Imho the differences between pop charger, CAI, and stock is so minimal that it comes down to personal preference (i.e. not wanting to worry about water, sound levels, etc)

Understandable. Water has always been an issue, having cold air intakes. But getting a G, it seems it is much lower than my other cars, so I wouldnt be keen on an intake that sits that low to the ground.
Thanks for the info, bro!
