okay im sobre now, i was mad at my car, for shutting off on me. anyway its a 6mt not an at, and my cuzin is a guy so that comment was discusting about unfortunate babies, and yes i stated that i probably spelt german wrong i couldn't think, i was drunk, but i have had the intake on for almost a year now and that was the first time it ever happened to me my incident was not that serious but imagine if you read on the news that a fellow g35 owner died last night because his car shut off and had no power steering so i went straight into oncoming traffic, would you be laughing than, or would you be worried about it happening to you, im playing guys, im just curious if this has happened to any 6mt owners and not because of an intake, i dont think that is the root of the problem
Let me guess, you were at a steady cruise (most likely above 50mph), pushed the clutch in, and the engine shut off. Correct? If so, that is a very common problem with running intakes on 6MT cars.

lol, yur gonna go German on your next car... you think you have problems now?!?! any german car is going to be in the shop for repairs atleast 6 times a year. good luck with that.

for those who've done it- is there something wrong with the G such that power steering is required to be able to steer the car at speed? ive driven other cars without it, and was ok.
to the OP- you should do your research on mods you install. intakes can and have stalled engines. in any case though, if you think german cars are generally more reliable than japanese cars you should go ahead and get one. good luck.
