How to break my bose stereo?!!

Hey guys, well I have a bose stereo in my 03 coupe, it doesnt read mp3, it takes like 20 seconds to load a cd and when I can hear the cd spinning when it plays... it sucks! i want to break it and get it replaced, hopefully with the newer one. How can i do it without being obvious? My warranty is up in January, thanks!

probably shouldnt ask on a public forum if you intend to defraud anyone. buy a nice aftermarket and forget about the stock blose.

Um, if you break it you'll only get the same one in it's place...so I see no point to the fraud

it sucks that 03-04 doesn't come with mp3 feature. it's one of reasons i'm tempted to replace mine with aftermarket.

Just go in there like that. I think those concerns would result in warranty replacement, unless its normal in the 03-04 radios?

I have the same issues as you, mine takes a considerable amount of time to load/change CDs as well. The difference between me and you is that I wouldn't do something that is both deceitful and unethical. Either live with it, or get it replaced with an aftermarket.....period!

cd player

my cd player says cd err when i put a cd in and i took to orlando infiniti and i just explained what was going on and they didnt even look at it he ordered a new one and set a date for me to come back. he just looked at my vin to see if i still have warranty which will be ending dec. if this doesnt work i guess you can pee in it like that other guy said just make sure you spread a towel over the shifter that might not be covered.

hit it with a sledge hammer, then tell them that for some weird reason your radio is caving in?

ya... i can only imagine how far you could take this too! go into the dealership and say, its not working right, and my radio smells kinda funny.. but you have to get real close to smell it. then... JUST as hes about to do that cautious first-time-sniff.... push his head so his nose touches your pee! THAT would be funny. hmm... anyone else have ideas?!
