Subs

I just ordered my coupe and I have a good idea on what I am going to do for the sound system. I was wondering if anyone has any pics of what upgrades that they have done. I have done a couple searches and the only pics I can find are for the sedan.

what's up,

you mentioned that you had a few ideas of what you were thinking about doing to the sound system. what were you thinking about doing??

For me this is my plan and I think most economical way..
I will add at least a 10inch powered sub and replace at least 4 speaker that can handle the high frequency, stock bose is not putting out good highs even you adjust the treble to max..I might do this when spring comes..

i have been thinking about this as well, here is my idea so far (even though i dont have a coupe, i need something to think about all day long), i think replacing the door speakers and tweets with a set of Focal Utopia 165W components and some Utopia Audiom 6W for behind the front seats, all powerd by a quality multichnl amp. some people say the utopias wont fit, if in fact they dont, i dunno what i will do. those speaker should take care of any and all mids and highs. for the lows i imagine two 8 inch subs in the rear deck. this would require some custom work and some serious talent (not me of course) but i think it could turn out awesome. puting subs in the rear deck would give great bass in the car, keep all the trunk space, and give good massages to rear seat riders. what do u guys think? this setup will probly cost somewhere in the vicinity of 2 grand.
