I want to install a push start and ive done lots of searching and found good info on the site but alot of the info i found had some things i didn't quite understand. I know this sounds stupid but can anyone tell me which wires are the:

1.) 12v positive constant
2.) 12v positive when car is on
3.) Ground wire

I want to use wires around the cig lighter but i dont know which. Are the two wires connected to the cig lighter any of the 3?? any and all help is awesome thanks guys

i've never understood when the benefits of having a push start button are over just turning the key. I mean, it makes sense if you have the inteli key thing, but, if you have a 6MT and you're already putting your key into the ignition and turning it to ACC, why is it so difficult to turn it a little furth to crank the engine?

Optional
RICE

Why add a step to the ignition process? For intelli-key, yes. For a conventional key, total riceyness.

to each their own... i did have it on my s2000, and it did NOT have intelli-key. I didn't mind the "extra step" at all. It's something different, and isn't that why people modify their car? to make it different and more to their own liking?

good luck on installing the push button start!

Start button....*

A few new cars out there have starter buttons but to
me that's reverting back to very "old school." The
last time I had a starter button it was on my '49 Ford
Convert. That was so long ago I didn't own a camera!
