BRAKES - if i upgrade do i need a new master cylinder?

im going with ap racing 14" 6 piston front and 4 piston 13" rears with stillen lines. will my brake pedal feel spongy at all? anyone done a complete big grake upgrade that can tell me a bit of theri impression? i have an at 06 coupe.

I upgraded to a 13" Stoptech setup all around. Stoptech designs their brake systems utilizing the stock master cylinder, I did not need an upgrade. I don't think most people here with aftermarket brakes change their master cylinder. with fresh fluid and stainless lines alone, your pedal will stiffen up quite a bit. you might also want to inquire on the my350z boards since i'm sure you'll find even more people there with aftermarket brakes. I can tell you that Cheston's (chebosto) with his 14" Stoptech (6 piston front/4 piston rear) is using his stock master cylinder. AP Racing might do their products differently, but you might just want to email Stillen, as they sell AP Racing and should know if you need any master cylinder upgrades.
