Please be sure to keep us up on your engine build progress. Nobody is sick of hearing about the TT's and SC's, but it would be fantastic to hear about another direction for high horsepower via NA.

Yeah, he is doing a TT 4.5 in a coupe. It is a ton of work. I would stroke my VQ before looking into a swap.

Out of curiosity, what are you paying for the Z motor?

I hear what you are saying, but in Socal if you want to drive it on the street stroking it (the engine that is) would cause you to be out of compliance with smog laws. I thought the motor mounts would be similar between a G and M, but I am obviously wrong. I felt it would be an alternative to FI and be very reliable. I have thought about Stillen (but don't care for the hood) I have also thought about HKS (like Stillen it's tuned out of the box), but not very many people have it and on my350z people have said it runs rich. I haven't done much of anything because I can't decide which way I want to go. I was hoping the 4.5 would be a viable alternative, but I am not looking to put 10k into a 32k daily driver (I drive 110 miles a day). I also cannot let the car sit in a garage for an extended period of time (daily driver).

The price for that motor is a steal. Was it a one time deal? or do you think you could get another motor for that price? I would like to build up a VQ for FI.
