Is it okay to turn on/off VDC while driving?

I'm assuming it wouldn't be a good idea while corning at 80 mph, but during regular driving? Yes, no?

If your driving an automatic, leave it on, it wont make much difference... If 6MT and weather is good, leave it off, if weather is bad, make dang sure it is on; it makes a huge difference in performance on 6MT; like night & day!

I never drive with the VDC on! haha Driving the car is so much more fun without it on. You can easily corner with that car at 80mph with it turned off. It just makes you more in tune with how the car will really handle. Although the car isnt truly off when you push the button, but it will train you to know how far the car will go before it breaks traction. Only reason I might use it is if the road conditions are reallllyyy bad. But then again im driving cautious instead of driving the car for the reason I bought it

be sure to know the limits of your car when the vdc off...if you dont know the limits you might spin out...so be extra aware when it's off

Guys,

I know all about VDC and how the car handles which is why I didn't do a search. I normally drive with it off b/c of the reason you guys listed above. I have it on when it rains and that's about it.
My question and I should have made it more clear I guess, is while I'm driving does it harm anything to turn it on or off while the car is MOVING. Meaning do I have to do it while the car is at a standstill.
I know it will corner fine at 80 w/o it, but I don't know how safe that would be to suddenly turn it on at high speed in the middle of a turn.
But the first person answered my question and thanks ( :

it would be more dangerous if your cornering at a high speed and you decide to be distracted and reaching over to switch it off.

if your taking a corner at 80 plus...depends on how sharp of a turn...the vdc can save ur *** if your car gets a little out of control...if its off your rear wheels will spind and make you lose control and spin out...i tried to drift a wet corner with vdc off....didnt turn out good....didnt get into an accident or anything but....i spun out and face the wrong direction on the road

You can turn it on to off and back with no problems at anytime
