SOOOOO MADDDD what to do?

So the dealer by my house where I get my service done offers Free car washes every Sat. from 10am-6pm. I have taken my G there about three times with Sat. being the 5th time. So last Wed. I noticed a scratch and scuffs on my wheel, I thought it was maybe something I hit on the H-Way, so I brushed it off. So Sat. I take my car to the wash, and when its done I take a look at my wheel to see if maybe there is some more damage and then I know I got the damage at the dealer. Well I go around the car and look down the whole wheel is scratched and chipped and s%it!!!!!!!!! I’m sooo mad so I go to the service manager and show him, and he says, "there is white paint on the wheel, we don’t have anything white in the carwash" finally he says, "we'll have to make a service appointment to fix it. I said but I want a whole new rim, he said they would have to try to fix it first!!! And that a new wheel will take a LONG time?????
What the F!!!!!!!
I'll post pics after work....

and THAT is EXACTLY why i never take my car to get a wash at the dealer. Never have never will, it seems they always mess something up and dont take the blame for it.

Good Luck with getting a new wheel.

So first they claim they don't have anything white in their carwash and then they agree to fix it?? Can you tell or did you see exactly what contacted the rim?

My dealer uses Dawn dishwashing soap. Real nice if you want to strip all the wax off your car. I generally bring my car in perfectly clean, so I usually opt not to have a wash done. The problem with other people doing it is the sponge and any residue left in the bucket. When I do it, I know everything is clean to begin with. What a way to ruin a nice Saturday. A guy should be able to kick back and enjoy the day, not sweat out how he is going to get his car repaired. Sorry to hear it bro.

There was a huge line at the wash so I couldnt really have them stop the washes to look in at what contacted the wheel. They took my info. and said they will set up a service appt. to try to fix it. Im soo mad...
They said this is the first time for the G to have a problem in the wash....

for real the dealer doesnt even ask me to have my car cleaned anymore and i still make sure they DONT! ive had so much stuff replaced b/c of their stupidity. radio faceplate, shiftboot, shift *****, clock cover, the list goes on mann......within the first week i had my oem 19's on they managed to scratch one and they rpelaced it on the spot! not to mention theyve replaced my tint once without telling me and it was the wrong % and FFF'd it up again my last appt (friday) so when i go in for my oil consumption results ill show them an invoice so they can give me a check since they dont have my tint! whatta PITA!!

^agreed...taking your car to the dealer for any work can be a pain.Def stay to dealers that other members have recommended or had good experience at to avoid such hassels. Just remember not all dealers will do you just, but just a few will do the work right the first time.

I have a big sign in my glove box saying "Please do NOT wash this vehicle" that goes on my dash every time my car goes in for service. This plus a thorough walk-around my car with the service writer before I leave has worked for me in the past.

My G35 has many scratches on it when I bought it brand new because of the initial detailing (guys in a truck using sponges and old rags) when I took delivery. NEVER will a dealer wash my vehicle again or detail it before delivering it to me.
