My passenger door lock will not lock/unlock and I beleive it is the lock assembly has anyone ever replaced theirs? I am out of warranty and the dealer quoted me 300-900$ which is ridiculous. I would really rather buy the piece and replace it on my own. I have taken the door apart and see the cables running to where I presume the assembly is but I have no idea how to get to it. If anyone has done something like this or had a problem similar please let me know.

It is really getting annoying having to do the manual lock (reach over unlock/lock) the doors when you have a passenger.

try your local stereo/alarm shop... im pretty sure they could make it work by adding after-market door lock actuator.
