Can someone please clarify all this for me? Can we just order from the site or do we have to go through a group buy?? I dont mind doing a GB but if the price is going to be the same, then Id rather just order on my own...Thanks

Now i know i'm no premier member or admin or anythign like that but i'd like to find out how many of us G owners would SERIOUSLY be interested in a group buy for the rouge engineering short throw shifter

I've done my research (threads on this forum) and trust me you won't be disappointed from a performance point of view.

Here's the link for the RE short shifter on the rouge engineering's website

Most people that have it installed will say it feels as if it should have come stock with our cars so.....

This is definitely a DIY the following was taken from a previous post...

"i'd say the hardest part of the install (if its on floorjacks on the side of the road) is to put the damn rubber boot back over it!!!! since it's above the driveshaft, man... that was a headache. Makes the shifting a little harder but the shorter throw is definatly worth it."

Yeah he's right. I just got off the phone with "Mark" one of the owners at Rogue Eng and he has agreed to do 1 last run on the short shifter. It will take about 4-6 weeks to get the short shifter shipped out. So i'd suggest everyone interesteed in it to go on their website and secure your short shifter ASAP.

P.S. He's not going to budge on the price i tried.

I went ahead and placed an order online. Seemed to be the safest thing to do. Seems like RE is just going to make their last batch and sell them as is. Perhaps it is advisable for the other people on the list here to place their orders as well considering RE updated their website and stated the last batch will be shipped around December. Come to think of it... it'll be a nice xmas gift for myself and the G.

The B&M will rattle after time. The RE has proven to be the best on for the Z/G.
