Stolen G
well i just a got a call from a coworker of mine, that a new girl their that has a stock 06 LR g35 was stolen from our parking lot..so that concerns me..im just curious if anyone has information on how easy it is to steal our cars...and im talking about actually taking the car and driving off with it.not breaking into the car..what is weird about this whole story is i know shes going though a deviorce..and what not..and she has inteli key,so the car doesnt even have an ignition, just that thing you turn... almost sounds like it was setup..?if its that easy to steal a car with inteli key..is it easier to steal cars with regualr ignition? i know our keys have chips in them..so does that mean we dont have any ignition trip wires?

It's been a while sine I got my car, but I think mine came with valet key in addition to the two intellikey fobs. I'm pretty sure her husband would have either a fob or the valet key somewhere.
As far as easier to steal with the intellikey, I would think so. All you need to do is replicate the RF signal and you good to go. With the regular ignition you need to replicate the RF signal and get a key cut or some hot wiring. Hot wiring a car isn't that hard, after your first car alarm install you'll know what your doing.
