..ok got my **** tinted...i have 2 weeks left before my inspection expires and i went to 1 place and they said i could do it and fail it or leave..i went to another place they did it and i paid 30 bucs...well they didnt give me my registration and gave me a 30 day paper in case i get pulled....now here are my questions...
should they have gave me my registration back?
should they of asked me before doing it since i had to weeks left?

Windows may not be any darker than 35% visible light transmission. This standard is considered to be met if the window tint is no lower than 32% visible light transmission when measured by the station with a photometer.

Been a while since I lived in NC, but I know in VA if you fail your inspection the station is required by law to remove your existing sticker and replace it with a failed sticker, regardless of how much time you have left in the month.

 

Another question... did you get it tinted in NC? If so, what kind of shop lets you tint the windows to an unpassable level on a state inspection?

 

^^in cali..you cant have any tint in the front..yet any/every tint place will tint them if you ask for it..

 

lol they wont let u guys tint your front? lol everyone in cali does it i think theirs more cars with tints in LA then there are without haha.
