Eclipse w/ Sirius tuner ?

Hello. My Eclipse Sirius drops the signal whenever I go under an overpass. It seems to be "Aquiring service" alot. Do you have the same experience? or I wonder if I have a defective unit. Previously I used my Sirius sportster and didn't have this problem. Thanks for your reply.

Satellite radio requires line of sight. Break the sight line and no radio. This is just how it works; you'll have to get used to it. Your "sportster" must have had a larger buffer to allow it to compensate for temporary outages.

^ +1 I have Sirius with my factory Bose headunit and I get the same thing all the time. Underpasses/bridges, thick trees overhead.... I temporarily loose signal. Usually only lasts a second or two at most, just a matter of getting that "line of sight" back for the signal to connect
