question on stock aluminum pedals

i noticed the other day that in all the pedals' holes, there's a rubber non-skid backing sticking through all the holes. except for the gas pedal. anyone notice this also or did my dealer take my non-skid backing?

No, I believe the gas pedal comes stock without the rubber nubs. Mine is the same.

same here and the conclusion i came to was....if you slip off the gas pedal..the worst that can happen is slow down.....but if you slip off the brake......you can potentially hit a wall, tree, person, etc. therefore the extra rubber helps so your foot dont slip off
