Performance wise the only thing besides the SC is a Stillen cat back system.

I will try to post pictures. Cost is $5k to $6k for system then installation. It was a little noisy at first with straight cut gears inside, but they have worn in and much quieter. The dealership is loving it. Every time I go into Nalley Infiniti, in Marietta, GA a crowd gathers.
Take care,
AlanL

Hi,
The FMU came with it. It's made by Aeromotive and looks like a graphic equalizer. The system comes with an extra fuel pump that kicks in under boost by the FMU. The FMU detects a drop in vaccum and cranks up the voltage to the fuel pump at different boosts. That is why it looks like an equalizer. You have 5 range adjustments. It is a bandaid but works great. The extra fuel pump just overpowers the injectors and puts in extra fuel. The dyno runs allow you to adjust this throughout the RPM range. It has a blowoff control so when you let off under rpm's air is allowed to escape. This is also vaccum controlled. The FMU is inside the right/passengerside kick panel.
Will try to get pictures together, having too much fun driving it right now. Don't know fuel pressure.

Boost 6-7 on the G35 and 7-8 on the 350Z
Thanks,

Will get chart up soon. The HP curve is not even a curve, it is a straight line:-) 200 HP at 3,900 rpm's and 343 HP at 6,200 rpm's. Torque ranged from 250 to 294 ft. lbs.

They would have to prove that the SC was the problem.

I would be afraid to kill my tranny with a kit like that, for sure they can say that the added power from the SC caused the tranny to break?

Very interesting.. Sound like a form of Kenne Bells "Boost-A-Pump" unit. I've got one in my supercharged Denali. When the engine goes into boost, a vac switch senses the change (at around 2psi of boost) and "ups" the voltage to both the stock and inline fuel pump that came with my charger. It works GREAT!

In reply to:

The HP is very lumpy especially around 5k. When it trails off and then comes back again. Doesnt look like all that smooth. Might need to dial in A/F more.... what the boost reads at about 70mph on the highway cruising.

The dynos chart shown are raw charts with minimal smoothing - they are very typical of a realworld engine. What most folks see in the magazines are refined charts with maximum smoothing to make them look nice....but they aren't real. For raw curves they are very good. The A:F is still a bit rich, but it is safe for when the weather gets cold and the air gets dense; that will lean it out somewhat. The last blown engine I tuned on the dyno gained over ten percent in hp and torque by leaning the ratio from 10.5:1 to 12:1.

Many folks misunderstand how a blower works. Either a roots-type or a centrifugal like the Procharger only make boost under load, not at cruise. I've owned three blown daily drivers with both types, and at cruise the gauges always read vacuum, not boost. No positive manifold pressure unit ( roots, centrifugal or turbo ) will make boost at a reasonable cruising speed.

Wow, that dyno looks very nice. Sure, there are a few ebbs and flows but as someone already pointed out, its more realistic than what you'd see in the magazines..its real world.

Can you flatten things out with some more dyno tuning? I think someone said you're running a bit rich right now..anyway, congrats, you seem very happy with the setup as you should be. That torque curve is making me more jealous than the hp curve to be honest with you

Re: My Coupe Dyno 430HP 343HP Rear Wheels

It is not too rich. It is around 11.5:1. This won't hurt the motor and still produces lots of power. I could probably get about 5 more hp, but it isn't worth pushing it. I could have picked up a notable amount of hp just by cooling the intake and intercooler before a run. Fans blowing on the car is not as good as 80mph for cooling. I am probably going to do another dyno run with cooling everything down in mind.

you outta get an ECU upgrade...but then you would have to have them do some custom adjustment to get your A/F right. but after that, it would be even better.
