I just bought an 03 with 58,000 miles and i was wondering if its to late to switch to synethic oil and would it be even worth it cuz i have read alot about oil consumption and my car right now has not burned a drop in 1,000 miles so far i just like synethic and i seen a tests with synethic especially mobil 1 to be better oils for you car ??

 

Lots of VQ's run synth with no problems.
Sounds like you don't have the dredded oil consumption issue, so imo, you'd be fine to go synth.

 

the only way to go is synthetic... pick a brand and stick with it...i have been on amsoil for 21 years in turbo/s.c. and n.a. motors. pick something u can get all the time and get a good filter no cheep stuff.......
