family?
Who cares either way? Just cuz you drive the same car as me doesnt mean you're a cool person or someoen I want to be friends with. I rarely acknowledge other G's unless they give me the nod, then ill send one back. Otherwise I don't see why so many car G owners feel like we should show love to each other just cuz we drive the same car...but thats just me coming from my Brooklyn, NYC state of mind.
I may flick lights or honk, I get a lot of that here in South Florida. But mostly, I get it from other people, specially after a race. It seems that the bond between racers is stronger than the bond between G35 owners.
Weird. I have only had my G for a month now and had a couple nods, but nothing like in the 300zx. I would say almost every time I passed another Z I got the nod or whatever. Kinda was hoping this would be the same, but we'll see. Not that big of a deal
usually try to acknowledge other drivers with a nod. i have yet to meet another driver that a douche. some guys driving other g's give me a thumbs up or a nod. the ladies just give me their numbers and times their husbands are at work.
I drive a Jeep Wrangler and the G35, other Jeep owners always wave, nod or smile. G owners..not so much, I always smile or wave and half the time I look like a dork waving to someone who is ignoring me. I did wave to an older man on the freeway the other day and he started laughing, waving and smiling, he then got behind me and stayed on my tail for quite a while..maybe he thought I was flirting with him.

I'm one of those a$$holes that rev. But my G sounds good, so yeah, it's a great way to get some attention. When I rev, I offer up a smile and say "nice G" assuming we are side by side. Overall, I don't race other G's.
Otherwise, I don't wave or give a thumbs up. G coupes are becoming almost as common as civics down in L.A. And yeah, a lot of older (old people) are driving them. They might get scared if I drive up to them and rev my engine

to me, i think it's bull$h!t and stupid to who ever thinks that their G is better than other Gs.. sure some Gs out there looks better than others, but i thought it's a family thing that if you see another G on the road, you say what's up or what not. not peeling out and giving mean muggs and junk...i want to know everyone elses opinion..
i live in the bay area (hayward).. i've had my G35 (Lela) for almost a month now..when i catch a G35, i say "what's up" and vice versa. but sometimes other G riders just want to race and 'mean mugg' but whatever, i'm done here. if there's anyone here that does that, you're a straight up punk for that $h!t....

Welcome, Jema......we're a friendly bunch here who love our G's and admire others too.....

I had some guy get in behind me for a few miles on the highway during rush hour. That I didn't mind. What pissed me off was later on he cut me off, began swerving inside his lane in front of me, and then started doing some wave with his arm out the sunroof all at about 70 mph.
Wtf was that all about? I thought I left all that back when I moved up in car classes.

...but in NJ for some reason everytime i see a 4dr G or 350z they try to egg me on to race. I guess they have something to prove cuz the G coupe is sooo puuuurdy
all friendly "G family" drivers should get the G35driver decal for the rear window
