INJEN installed...

After 3 1/2 hrs of hard work...I'm all exhausted and eagered for a cold shower... Anyhow...all the work is worth it The toughest part I think was to remove this pain in the a$$ stock airbox without taken off neither wheel or bumper...there r a couple screws down there which I spent a long time trying to unscrew em...well the car was jacked up a bit so there was just enough space to work with. Here are some finished pics...

Re: INJEN installed...

Did a little test run today...all I can say is "WOW"! What a difference... Few things that I noticed is that first, the engine runs cooler than usual, dropped like 2-3 degrees c. Second, the acceleration felt quicker in low rpm... And third, the sound above 3.5k rpm is...one word..."BEAUTIFUL"! INJEN is the way to go guys...you can't go wrong!

Aldo,
Nope. But if u did the whole installation would be alot easier to do. I just don't wanna spend time and strength taking it off and putting it back on...too much work and risk for me. Oh yea...u do need some good tools to reach some screws...and a razor to cut the foam. Some digging with ur hand and that's about it.

Another thing...should I add a heat shield to it? I think they might be good to protect the filter against dirt and water. Have anyone attempted this?
