Talking "Why do we have bose..." +1

I remember a while back, before I got my G Coupe 6MT, I read a thread saying there is no point in having the Bose system since the exhaust note of the car sounds so good.

Now that I have my G, I comply 100%! Just roll down the windows and turn off the radio/CD player!

Well, I do like the exhaust note very much too but I much rather listen to the radio while driving on a highway. I really love the exhaust note while I am switching gears on regular street driving. Besides, I do not think that Bose is what it is all jacked up to be. In the high end stereo business there is a saying that goes like this: No highs, no lows, must be Bose, and I agree. I think that Infiniti could do better on the stereo system by moving away from Bose. Anyway, I did not buy my car for the stereo ans I must agree that the exhaust note is the sweetest of all cars under 40k.

back when i had a 1992 Q45, the bose system kicked ***, i think it had more speakers also though. I still do love the G sound system though, it could be a little better i guess..

the bose is what it is. its aimed toward the average joe, that doesnt care about great sound. its better than the run of the mill OEM setup, but FAR from good. any audiophile would much rather upgrade.
