Hey everyone, I joined this forum recently after I decided to get a G35 coupe. I won't be buying until April/May time frame, since we'll know what the 2008 coupe will look like by then and hopefully some really good deals will pop up for the 07 models.

I plan on getting a LP Coupe with graphite interior. I've done a lot of reading and put together my upgrade "path" for the next 2 years or so. I'd like to get some feedback as to whether I've made a good choices with parts and whether there are things I've left out.

Stage 1
Clear Corners $36
Tein H-Tech Springs $145
MRev2 $446
5/16th Spacer $340
HKS Hi-Power Ti Exhaust $1,525
Pop Charger/Z tube combo $200
Stillen Sway Bar Set $299
Stillen Rear Strut Bar $150
...........................................
Should be done by next winter - $3,800 including labor

Stage 2
Volk Rims and Tires $3,500
...........................................
Done by summer 08

Stage 3
Full Kenstyle Body Kit $4,000
JDM Grill with Truck badge $200
...........................................
Done by spring 09 - $4200 with labor

After this, I may look at doing FI, but at this point it's just an afterthought since it'll be very expensive.

Stage 4 FI!!!
Vortech SC $6000 with labor
...........................................

Well, how's this look for my 2 year plan? Thanks in advance for the feedback.

EDIT: Changed to Vortech SC after some more reading. Cheaper, reliable, easier to maintain than TT.

if you want to do boost then dont do any other mods and keep your car stock until that time. otherwise, you wont get out what you put in.

+1 and h-techs are not coilovers they are just springs. for coilovers youre looking at $1000+-.

OK, fixed the "coilovers" to springs. That's what I need to lower the G right? Or do I need the coilovers?

Also, if I didn't go FI, does that look like a good plan?

If I do go FI, can I just leave out the spacer, Mrev, and exhaust and keep the other mods?

Thanks.

If I were you I would just slap a Vortech on. Forget all of the other Bul$****. Do you want a show car or a go car?

Yea, I just changed my FI setup to Vortech. Hopefully they'll have one ready for the 06/07 model by the time I'm ready.

If I do go with the Vortech SC, does that mean I don't need the mrev2 and 5/16 spacer?

I should also get headers and exhaust first right? Before I put in the vortech.
