If I want a purplish color for my headlights instead of stock. Can I just swap out the stock bulbs for 9K/10K to get this look?

8000K should work but the higher K you go, your visibility is greatly reduced. Keep that in mind. Using 8K at night I dont think you'd see too much however a friend of mine has them and they do look great!

yes thanks for catching my spelling mistake oh btw i believe it it worrying not worring dumb **** and im sorry for trying to be "ricey" by changing the look of my HID's not purple painted halogen wanna be xenon knockoffs but changing my 4300k hid bulbs to a more appealing IMO 8000k set. Also i was not worrying about light bulbs dumb *** i was simply giving everyone a reference of where they can pick up a set for a decent price so you my friend can go **** yourself. to the rest of you guys i realize that 8000k bulbs will reduce my visibility but i personally like the look that the 8000k bulbs give and in fact i find it easier on my eyes to pick objects out on the road with a purple/blue backdrop as opposed to a more halogen color. Obviously everyone has their own preferences but thats just mine. I will post picks for everyone to see after and so that i am not to be confused i was NOT making fun of ultinons and i am sure they are a high quality HID bulb im just looking for a cheaper alternative.

cheers
