Will 275 40 r18 fits stock 18" rims (2004)?

I've spent the last 20 mimutes searching but I can't find it... hey, I need to take a Searching101 course I guess. Anyone know? Thanks.

No one has told me yet if 265s can fit the rears, I think they can. But how is it that some guys run the same size front and rear, I thought the staggered setup was the only way to go.

I drove a coupe with 245 fronts, and it felt weird in slow speed turns

The stock rear 18" wheel is 8", 265s will be too wide.

i had 275 on the stock 8...the 18's will hold them

IIRC, the 18's are 8", but the 19's are 8.5".

Regardless, most tire-manufacturers say you need a 9.5" rim to hold a 275 tire.

The Coupe 18s are 8" wide front and rear. the 19s are 8.5" wide in the rear.
