ok, so I see alot of the "oil consumption/engine swap" topic around. (myself included this winter) but im wondering what happens with the warranty. do you get a new 36k warr. on the engine, or does it pick up where your last engine left off?

any input would be helpful.

Typically, they'll only give you the remainder of the warranty owing on the original engine.......but don't forget that the powertrain warranty is longer.
Ours in Canada is 6 yrs. 110k kilometer.
Yours is something like 6 yrs. 75k miles

That's a good question. I'm getting a new engine soon and I will be sure to clarify this issue with the dealer.
